We are going to list the best bakeries on Maui, one for each side of the island. Whether you’re feeling hungry in the morning and want to treat yourself, or just need a fresh loaf of bread…this list has it all!

Leoda’s Kitchen & Pie Shop-Lahaina

Leoda’s is more restaurant than bakery, but their popular selection of sweet and savory pies have earned them a spot on our bakery list! They offer casual family-style dining in a comfortable plantation-era atmosphere. Located on the Westside of Maui, specifically in Olowalu, dining in this adorable restaurant is a must… and you definitely need to try a pie for dessert!

Cravings Bakery-Kahului 

Cravings Bakery is all about cakes and dessert. Whether it’s for a wedding, birthday or celebration, Cravings works with you to create an extraordinarily delicious cake, cupcake or dessert. From traditional, classic and modern, to romantic, whimsical and even theme inspired designs, they have something for everyone. Cravings Bakery really cares about the ingredients that go into their cakes and desserts. They use the freshest whole ingredients that they can get their hands on. We highly recommend them!

The Maui Cookie Lady-Kahului

The Maui Cookie Lady is a little island boutique bakery with premium, freshly-baked gourmet cookies that feature an array of locally sourced ingredients. They continue to gain loyal customers due to their creative, decadent flavor combinations and wholesome inclusions. MCL has been featured in many different magazines and shows. Their cookies even made the #2 spot for Top 10 Christmas Cookies to Buy Online for the annual shopping guide of “Taste of Home Magazine” for 2020.  MCL cookies are shipped all around the world, but originally starting as a fundraiser at a local farmers market on the island of Maui!

Stillwell’s Bakery & Cafe-Wailuku

One of my absolute favorites, is Stillwell’s! There’s a sort of nostalgia when I walk into their air conditioning doors. My mom used to treat me to their tasty chocolate eclairs from time to time as a child. They never disappoint! Not only are their baked goods on point, but this is also a great spot for breakfast and lunch. The menu has high ratings and they’ve got all sorts of salads and sandwiches to choose from.

Maui Bread Company-Kihei

Are you into fresh baked bread? Then this is the bakery for you! Maui Bread Co offers sweet, savory, Hawaiian artisan, German artisan, gluten-free and vegan bread options. Something for everyone! They truly believe in quality. They are well known for their local flavors, Alohas, and their unique ability to combine the best of Eastern and Western baking.
