Help protect them
1-Keep at least a 10 feet distance from the turtles.
We want these beautiful creatures to keep coming back to our beaches to rest and give birth. But if they are constantly bothered by humans they will go somewhere else. So please respect their private space and make sure you do “Social Distancing” just like with any other human at the moment!
2-Pick up your trash
Entanglement in debris like fishing line or ingestion of plastic pieces can severely injure or kill turtles. The best way to help sea turtles is by reducing your consumption of single-use plastics like straws, cutlery, and takeout containers. If you find trash on the beach, do your part and pick it up 🙂
